Growing up in Ogallala, Nebraska, Dr. Smith attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln where he received his under graduate degree in biology, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After graduating in 1988 he headed west and established his home and practice in Greeley.
The Greeley Practice has been blessed with valuable staff, incredible patients and steady growth. Dr. Smith is excited that Dr. Blake Cure chose our practice to call his home. Going forward with our team of dentists, hygienists, and highly trained staff, our family of patients can depend on skilled, professional care.
Always believing that if you provide the best clinical dentistry possible for your patients, everything else will take care of itself, Dr. Smith has continued to pursue excellence in his clinical skills through advanced education. Dr. Smith has completed training courses and residencies in order to keep his skills at the highest levels possible, including:
Residency in restorative implant dentistry in 1991
Residency in surgical implantology in 2004
Attendee of the Pankey Institute
Completed the Dawson Academy Concept of Complete Dentistry
Completed the Kois curriculum for Advancing Dentistry through Science
Dr. Smith is also a past member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, founding member of the Imperfect-Bite Study Club, member of the Seattle study club, member and past president of the Weld County Dental Society, and member of the American and Colorado Dental Societies.
Here in beautiful Colorado, it’s easy to understand why Dr. Smith loves skiing in the mountains, fishing, hiking, biking, and enjoying all that the outdoors has to offer. He also spends all the time he can with his wife and their two sons, Jacob and Lucas. He is looking forward to welcoming Antoinette as their newest family member when she and Lucas get married later this Summer.
